An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet -
regardless of time, place, or circumstance.

This ancient Chinese belief reminds us that the baby that is meant for our family will find us......and may already be on his or her way! We can't wait to meet and welcome him or her to our family!

The Miracle of Adoption

"An event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God"

"Miracles are spontaneous, they cannot be summoned, but come of themselves"

"A miracle is an unexpected event"

"One that excites admiring awe"

"An event attributed to divine intervention"

The above are all defintions of "miracles" that I found online. All, alude to, but don't directly state, the importance of faith. But faith is a huge necessity in the recognizing of a miracle. You must have faith in order to believe that miracles are possible.....that things outside your control can yield the greatest results. You must be willing to let go in order to receive miracles in your life. You must realize that some things are unexpected and totally out of your control. You are not suppose to completely understand miracles. You only have to believe and and be open to them in order to accept them.

I can't think of a better word to describe adoption. A miracle. And I believe in miracles. I believe in the miracle of adoption.
